Advice on taking and passing the SPHR exam?
Advice needed - boyfriend has almost 3.5 years of finance experience at a bank. Interviewed for PwC valuation senior associate and now recruiter says they want to hire him at “experienced associate” because he has no valuation experience. Is this too big of a step backwards in career? Should he push back and see if it gets him anywhere? If he does accept Associate, is it reasonable to ask for written, definitive timeline (1 year?) for promo to Senior upon meeting standards? Help!

So you can finally show mom what you do all day.

Why you leave? Doin is a sad.

My LM is so keen on small small things, not related to coding but documentation and all. Atleast once in a week I'm committing mistakes on small documentation points n he is stressing on same. Are there any chances that my probation will not be extended or is it a clue for me from my LM. He is Looping his LM and asking questions/clarifications.
Should I ask him directly or can be ignored or need to try outside. Please suggest Barclays

I would argue this is a good time to shine..do bare minimum with project and focus energy on leadership exposure through impactful initiatives. Last time I had that situation, I took on back to back proposal work that gave me an edge.
Great suggestion, considering doing this but not killing myself over it

Catch up on podcasts. Just enjoy the easy work while it lasts and work the bare minimum hours.
Thanks I do have some books and podcasts to catch up on so will def do that!
Gladly trade your PMO mundane tasks for a circus where the elephants are riding the monkeys and the ringmaster has 3 arms and none of the three coordinate!
Sorry this is happening, hopefully it gets better
I’d be pumped about that. You can log off right on time and sleep easy knowing what you’re in for the next day. I’d trade you any day
Of course!! It is a temporary situation, so capitalize! Get some home or personal project or whatever tackled you have had to put off and keep on the back burner due to previously not having time, enjoy that extra R&R, etc., so that once you ARE back in a management role, you’re refreshed and ready to get at it!
What else can you do but to enjoy your task and do your bet whenever you are requested to do a little extra effort for your work. Take the opportunity and always be at your best.
Thanks trying to do the best, worry is if I do well I will get stuck here forever so trying to avoid that.
