Making new friends pool side

Curious if this is going to happen to others - I quarantined w/ my husband 24/7 for the last 10 weeks, he left 4 days ago to visit a friend. I’m having severe separation anxiety beyond what is normal

My SO is an alcohol abuser but has said he knows it’s a problem and would like to cut back or quit. Any suggestions or advice in how to help and cope with this. He becomes a different person when he drinks. I want to support him but don’t know how or where to start.

What type of food do you all feed your fur babies? I have a very picky eater, and doesn’t like hard food/treats. He’s at an ideal weight, and I’ve been making homemade food to mix in with his kibble, but not sure if that’s the best thing to do for his nutrition. I’ve tried wetting his food to make it softer, but he won’t touch it. Not sure if I should look into premade human grade food or continue making my own. Or using something else for his kibble. Any advice would be helpful! Thanks :)

I just came home sobbing because I got too drunk at my female best friends house and her husbands male friend tried to take advantage of me when we were left alone in a hot tub. My girlfriend of 4 years routinely gets so angry at me in the form of “triggers.” She has childhood trauma from her terrible parents. I just wanted to reach out and let you all know I understand how tired and beat down we all feel at this point in the year. I’m feeling it too. I also know exactly how students can try us. What I’m working on every day though is to see my kids as God does… not the kids that know how to push buttons and drive me crazy, but as the beautiful lives they are, all deserving of the best we can give them every day. I know it’s not easy, but that’s what I’m working on.
