Tbh, if you’ve aired your concerns, and your leadership is dismissive, i would let the manager do what they want to do. at the end of the day, it’s their neck on the line. I’ve been in a similar situation (also a senior) and there’s only so much you can do. Worst case scenario, it’s a “i told you so”. and best case scenario, nobody notices and you get to release the anxiety you’ve been holding about their work.
Have you worked w then live o to debate/understand why they’re making the changes they’re making? It’s okay to agree to disagree but if you’re not doing the former you’re missing out in leadership opportunities
