I've had a hybrid role for the past 4 years where I get unlimited sick days (well 14 really until fmla kicked in), 3 weeks of vacation, 3 personal days. I am also given the week after Xmas off. if my toddlers are sick I can work at home with them. I’ve only ever been upgraded at 2 Marriott properties in the 8 years I’ve been doing this. Just like others have said, highly dependent on property. I’ve also been at crap properties off the highway and even nothing there. I barely even get greeted with the little tag line for being a Titanium. Really debating Hyatt.....but that may be masochistic in terms of availability
I am upgraded almost always. Often to better views / executive rooms, but many times to suites as well. Some hotels upgrade me to suite in every single stay.
Then, if I need it for any special reason, I ask and sometimes get the +100sqm suites / apartments.

Higher floor. Corner room. Quieter room (courtyard view vs busy street). Upgraded a level or two up, or to a suite. Free breakfast buffet or parking.
Just depends on the specific property, the chain, etc.
This. It’s highly dependent on the hotel. If you’re at a big business hotel in a major city, you’ll get nothing and like it. A random courtyard on the side of a highway? Might get a suite. Depends greatly.
