MBB horror stories please!

Hey folks, anybody willing to refer me for consulting position at MBB, Kearney, OW, EYP, S&.

I have more than 2 years of experience in market research firm and have worked in a startup in UK and Germany.

I had passed the CV screening at Bain, LEK and S& London offices last year. I will share the SS for credibility :)

What recruiters, if any, do MBB/Tier 2s use in London? Interested in strategy/m&a in particular

Know this is a long shot, but if I’m counseled out of one MBB, what are the chances I could get an equivalent job at another? And if not another MBB, thinking that a T2 or B4 could be possible? I’m not even sure I want to stay in consulting, but also feel like I didn’t get a fair shot at it

Question for ex-consulting (esp MBB) folks who landed up at Google - are you happy with the decision you took? Why / why not? I'm an MBB Consultant with an offer for a role in Strat Ops in another country. Also evaluating a similar role in a fast growing, publicly lister SaaS company closer to home - faster growth, more flex to work remotely. Want to understand if consulting folks are happy with Google overall, despite a potentially slower / more open ended growth path.

What would be the life science career track with the highest comp and fastest progression for someone without a technical stem degree but with a M7 MBA and transaction/deals consulting experience? Am I right to assume it would be MBB?

MBB AP about to exit to non-FAANG tech. Would you expect a signing bonus and/or pre-determined severance pay if things don't work out with the new company? Anything else that people have negotiated during their exit? I'd be leaving a large amount of bonus on the table to leave before the end of the year.

What is typical signing bonus offered by MBB if you are recruited as an experienced hire into their Manager or Senior Manager level (coming from Big 4)? For core strategy practice, not niche areas.

Is a move to PE from MBB worth it?

Anyone been able to work from Dubai for a UK/US firm and benefit from no taxes? I know if you are a US citizen you pay taxes where you are globally, but if you are British, then you only pay income tax on UK income - so if you live more than half the year abroad you are classed as non-domicile resident, but wanted to hear if anyone’s done this or heard about it?
