Hey guys. I have been applying to Amex for the past 1 year. Tried applying on the portal, through referrals and even hr consultants reached me regarding the roles since I have a relevant profile. But not once have I been shortlisted or called for an interview. What could be the problem?
PS: I have gotten calls from every other company for the same profile but not amex. Can't be a problem with the profile. Seems something dicey which I'm not aware of.American Express
Hi Everyone, I am trying to apply for a Technical Support role at Dropbox I’m entering all the required fields but there seems to be an issue, when I hit submit after filling the form, it doesn’t submit and throws error ‘Looks like you left this blank! Please fill out this required field’ when all the fields are entered already (I have checked so many times, and filled the form from scratch several times too). Anyone from Dropbox who can put me in touch with HR or suggest what I should do next?

Wow. McKinsey, which has the biggest public sector presence of the MBB, really hasn't been doing too hot at all in the sector.
Its presence is tiny and it's gotten even smaller. Meanwhile it's bungling whatever opportunities it's getting.

Hiring manager is person you’d report into should you get the job.
Recruiter is HR person who is helping the Hiring manager. They take care of logistics / offer letter / visa stuff etc.
One finds you and the other fires you.
They also typically are the first screen. The hiring manager doesn't have the time, nor desire to sort through resumes, search on-line for qualified candidates and do initial phone or zoom interviews.
Hiring manager is usually going to be the person you'd work for directly when hired on.
Also at search firms, someone can have the title of recruiter and be a consultant that sources and recruits top executive talent.
