160 a month not more not less why more? They don’t pay me for overtime. People create a good culture! If you set your limits and do excellent work they won’t abuse your time! I’m a high performer always Gold standard. Is about quality not quantity
You must work in the federal practice. Only place you can get away with 40 hours a week all the time.
Goddamn just reading this thread is blowing my mind. I thought my lil 70 hour weeks were bad. Part of me has to wonder though how many hours everyone is saying were actually productive
I have a solid 10 hours of productivity max. I don’t even want to think about how many hours I sat there doing basically nothing just waiting for my manager to leave
answering this question just encourages public’s bad culture
Worst I’ve had personally: about 310 my Staff 1 year (Northeast, Assurance).
Worst I’ve seen: my friend who hit about 500 as a Staff 1 (Northeast, Assurance). Unsurprisingly, he left the firm pretty quickly ☹️
@crowe I think Crowe is a good firm to work for, since it pays the same or more as the rest of the midsize but is smaller than 4 midsize firms. So you'll work less than say a BDO person for same pay, which is pretty cool
I hit 324 last busy season in LA which I thought was ridiculous for a SM so I left for industry at the end of summer.

My worst week was 65 hours...in 3.5 days. Released and promptly rolled my hours and slept for the next couple days
300 roughly in a month last year in tax, consultant level
I did approximately 350 one month back when I was a senior. M&A Tax. Really shouldn’t happen.
Would u mind describing how the situation arose/ how you handled it? I'm starting in M&A Tax this June so I'm curious.
368. Was a new audit manager
Did 360 my first year on a 3 year restatement... One day was 22 hours (8-6 and back at 8)
I know exactly what client you’re talking about! Brutal busy season for that team.

That was me I posted a glitch in our system showing 310% utilization lol
Most billable I have done In a month is just over 300. In a week a touch over 80. Most of my normal busy season is 65-70 total hours a week, usually about 5-7 non billable.
Also rank.
I hit 380 as a Senior. I'm in tax.
It's always like this within this group. Too much work and not enough staff.
