Crown Heights near Franklin Avenue or Nostrand Avenue stop
Prospect Heights. Close to Atlantic Terminal to get you to JFK quickly, and runs along A train. Not a tough drive either. (LGA is fucked even if you live in Queens).
20 min into Manhattan also
Agreed, the Crown Heights area I suggested before is on the cusp of Prospect Heights. Great neighborhood.
Fort Greene! If you leave for the airport early in the morning commute is great!
Williamsburg
Driving in and out of Williamsburg is brutal these days
Williamsburg
Bedstuy is pretty great and on the A. Getting to LGA was never a problem for me while living there.
easy access to JFK? It's easy until you get to the dreaded....Van Wyck. (see seinfeld)
Avoid Williamsburg - the L line is always a mess.
I’d go for Brooklyn (heights) or Long Island City
Coney Island
Upper East Side - Yorkville
is that area cheap?
