Desi mamas.. my LO is 9 weeks old. He was born at 27 percentile and slowly dropped to 3 because of my low supply. He’s now consistent at 5 percentile with triple feeding. I’m wondering if it is normal for desi infants to be this low on the growth chart because of our food choices, built etc? Anyone else experienced this?

Parents- with Covid likely causing virtual school I’d want an after school program like Kumon but at home. Maybe find a tutor who practices that method? Where can I find one? I had a mean Korean lady that annoyed me so much that I became good at math- looking for someone just like that 😂

All - single mom here and my job is important to take care of my child. Currently have a nanny but it is been so expensive. A daycare spot opened up and I would like to transition kid to daycare, nanny doesn’t want part time. My mum has agreed to come stay with me ( from another country for next 4 months) to help kid adjust to daycare and manage initial sicknesses. Do I need to plan for longer ? I am thinking September through December ( the peak sickness season).

I accepted a new job, they said PTO was “generous.” I find out it’s 19 days a year of PTO (which includes sick days). I have two young children and we like to vacation 1-2x a year (no more than a few days away each time). Am I crazy that this is pretty limited time off? 8 of the normal holidays off during the year (working the week between Christmas and NYE). Thoughts? I dont know if lack of PTO is a good reason to back out, is it?

Tomorrow they are requiring masks again and I was almost in tears when I found out. We have been mask free (recommended) since June and I feel like we are being muzzled again. In-laws (especially MIL) blew up at my husband and me & won’t speak to us anymore after husband told them to ask for my permission before holding our 2 mo old. Hi, my baby is yelling while sleeping at least 2 or 4 times at night. What happens is that she yells once, wakes us, we look at the momitor, and she is sleeping peacefully. OMG. What is this? It has been happening for the last week.
Context: My baby is 10 months,sleep trained since she is 7, sleeping from 7 pm to 6 am, no problem. 2 naps are great and always at the same time. Poop once a day regular

Moms, what is your opinion on goat milk formula? I am hearing conflicting things. My baby’s pediatrician did not recommend it, because these formulas are new and not enough studies have been done on them (as opposed to Similac and Enfamil which have been around forever). But I’m also hearing from some people that it’s closer to breast milk and easier to digest for babies. Have any of you done any research on this and have a perspective to share? Many thanks!

How important is it to leave public accounting with CPA? I really enjoy PA but the hours are tough with studying. I am not one to make excuses just wondering worst case scenario if I can’t get it while in public and get it in future with better W/L/B job. Will it be hard to get a good job leaving without cpa? I want to acknowledge as a dad of 2, we just lost our third at 12 weeks due to a missed miscarriage. We were devastated, not only by the loss but by the week long process that followed. Yet - miscarriages are not seen as a bereavement and often minimised by the well intentioned with shallow words of encouragement. We need to talk about this more.... right?
