Need to lift weights (10-25lbs), walking with baby, drink a lot of water, and try air squats (100 a day 4 sets of 25, 8 sets of 12)
If you are drinking soda, juice or caloric drinks, stop for a few weeks and you will notice an Im editar decline.
If your sweat tastes salty, your taking in too much sodium which means bloat.
Thank you! I do usually drink a couple of glasses of juice a day, so I might try to stop that for a little bit. It's just such a part of my routine, but I'd like to try anything that will make me feel better in my skin again. Well, not anything, but giving up juice for a couple of weeks seems reasonable.
I have not ever dealt with pregnancy weight, but I definitely have gained 20 pounds before. I highly suggest trying yin yoga because it will cause your body to enter a state of rest more regularly and that's part of the problem in losing weight initially - and particularly if you have a very loud very little one. You can do it as soon as they nap, for just minutes at a time, you don't have to make a whole thing of it. And then, as you have time, start going out for walks. Bring the baby if it's not too cold where you are, but just get some movement in that you know you'll do most days or whenever you can. Do a few squats when you think of it, breathe when you lift heavy items and feel your muscles contract. The more that you just tune into your body it will find its way, very gently, back to its home weight. In the meantime, you had a human person enter this world through you, and you're allowed to keep that weight for as long as it wants to be there.
Thank you so much for this advice. I see other people jumping into hardcore workouts after baby & I feel like I'm doing something wrong. But I like how this method sounds because it seems so gentle and kind. I really am trying to work on being kind to myself, too. <3 Thank you so much.
Prioritize how your body feels instead of how it looks. If you're breastfeeding, it's normal to be on the heavier side because you have to consume enough for two people. Eat healthier food and don't overexert or push yourself to do intense workouts when you're already running on practically no sleep. Listen to your body.

Are you breastfeeding. Doctors usually say not to try to lose weight while breastfeeding because it could impact milk supply.
Oh wow, ok... I will have to keep that in mind, I didn't realize. I have a lot of friends who lost weight because they exclusively breastfed, but that's not been my experience. I wonder why it's been different for me?
Just a reminder that nobody expects you to bounce back immediately after giving birth or even within the year for that matter. The truth is, there's a chance that you won't ever fully go back to your "normal" state, and that's okay.
I appreciate you saying this and also hope that I will feel sort of normal again before long. I don't like to focus on my weight too much, but I just don't love how I've been feeling lately.
Please don't feel pressured to lose weight after giving birth just because of what you see online. Don't push yourself too hard to look a certain way.
I understand what you're going through. I gave birth a year ago and I still haven't gotten my body back. It is a process but I am not pressuring myself.
Are you breastfeeding? Breastfeeding really helped me lose weight. I am a little pounds closer to my pre-pregnancy weight now.
If you’re breastfeeding, it may be a little more challenging. You don’t want to weaken your supply.
Yes, high intensity workouts can, so just be mindful of it. It also may not, so maybe just monitor that. If you see a reduced supply and you are doing high intensity workouts, then that might be why. My wife experienced some of that.
Hello! I am here to remind you that there is nothing wrong with your body. You just pushed out a human being out of you. You are amazing.
Hello, dear! Don't be pressured. Apple cider is an effective hack to lose weight. I take apple cider gummies every morning.
Are you breastfeeding? Normally, mothers who breastfeed their child either loses weight or maintains a certain weight. If you still breastfeed your little angel it's okay to be carrying that weight still. Focus on reducing the weight after a year. But you can do light exercises or cardio.
We all know that the answer to this is to just exercise. However, there's a lot to consider before you can actually do this. One, you don't have enough time in day. Two, you already feel exhausted to put your body through some more work. Maybe the best thing to do is to first eat right and exercise when you have the time.
You know what, you're losing a little weight everyday without realizing it. You have to remember that the weight you're carrying is not purely fat, breastmilk contributes as well. Give it time. I noticed I was losing weight at 9 months.
Hey there! I don't think my advice would be that helpful but fellow moms have recommended post-partum belly wraps a few months after giving birth because according to them they felt their tummies tighten.
Are you able to find time to exercise? If you can find time then I suggest you develop a cardio routine. You can go for a jog, a swim, bike, or even brisk walk. But consult your doctor first to make sure you can start being active again.
If you can find time to exercise, definitely go for it. But if you don't have the time, maybe you can try skin firming products. Go for products that have collagen, vitakin c, and retinoids.
I don't think taking weightloss supplements can help with the baby especially when breastfeeding. The best way to lose weight is to eat healthy greens and light exercises. Get moving mommy!
I have found that my belly pouch slowly went away when I did waste training. Made me more conscious of my shape because I looked in the mirror every day.
