USI Insurance brokerage and consulting - thoughts? A recruiter reached out to me via linked in and I was wondering if anyone had any opinions on this company. They seem to have decent reviews on Glassdoor but I was hoping to get more insight into workload and comp. Thanks in advance! USI

Guys there’s this boot camp that I came across that trains people to get jobs in Top consulting firms and has a fee plan wherein you pay once you get placed. I just wanted to know if someone here has any experience with this ?

Yeah I'd give him an ultimatum - full repayment or you're filing a police report. Break up either way obviously. It's his choice whether or not he wants a criminal record. Could be a felony depending how much he stole.
What he did was wrong but The poor guy bought just food and alcohol and that too coz he lost his job. Why don't you communicate with him and sit down and talk like mature adults. Son many people here are so eager to jump to conclusions
@OP have an honest conversation about why he didn't feel like he could ask for help outright... Maybe he just assumed it was OK with you since you've been together so long ? Still not ok but
What do you mean you can't? Like you're living together? ... even so, I mean ...
You can't press charges and might not be able to dispute if you both are leaving under one roof.
This is getting shit crazy. OP there are two ways to look at it. First: he broke your trust or Second: he had trust on you that you will understand. Which one to pick is depending on how are you looking forward. Have a frank conversation and then decide. In any case he has to understand that it was not okay not only because he did hide this from you but also because you were not okay with this. Whatever the case and try to understand, if you have not taken decision yet, why he did that!! Best of luck OP!!
You know what to do. Just have the courage to do it. Our greatest fear lies in anticipation.
@Bain and company, now that's a situation worth exploring. Legit accidental.
Learn to share, will you all think the same if the facts where: "my girlfriend lost her job and didn't have money ao grab my credit card to buy some food while i was away working?" I think whats need to be done here is have a straight face to fave conversation and tell them how you feel about it and see what he thinks about it.
Why is everyone here defending this guy? If he needed financial help due to losing his job, he should have asked OP.
Sure, I could see making a mistake where you use the wrong grub hub or Amazon account once or twice, but over a weird of WEEKS where you could be doing several transactions per day? No way that was "accidental".
@pwc 11 it's still theft if a woman does it without asking lol. I don't think that's wht the Facebook lady had in mind when she asked us to lean in
Yes you can if you tell them there was theft
Get rid of him.
Each to their own, but I would be done with him today -right after you cancel cards. Up to you about paying the charges This guy does not deserve you.
1. How is this even a question. He's a criminal, dump him. 2. Call the card company and dispute the charges. Hopefully you didn't make any payments on the card while he was using it. It's a bit more difficult to dispute charges you've already paid for.
What's wrong with his credit cards?
Why did you give it to him? Your fault.
He took it out of my purse. I don't think I can file anything with the police and I'm not in a place where I can break it off with him
Call the police and dump him

Man, that sucks for both of you OP...how committed to him are you? Is he just spiraling downward based on the lost job? If you love him and want to keep going just a) let him know that you know, b) let him know that you would be there for him to provide these things if he asked, and c) that his actions are dishonest and you're gone if it happens again
