I can relate to this. Just try this method but you need a lot of patience for this and just try to think it's not the end of the world if your kid skips a meal.
Try to put a plate in front of your daughter with food and don't ask her to eat. Make sure it looks easier to eat and tasty. You continue to eat your food in front of her. If she doesn't show any interest ask her just once and then leave. So she might go to school hungry that day but it's ok because she didn't want to eat. Keep repeating this daily and three times a day. I can guarantee you this will work in due course of time but it's very difficult for us as we attach our love with food. Again there might be some other issues as well that only you can anticipate being a mother but if she is hungry and just doesn't eat because she wants control this will definitely work.
I have gone through this issue many times in my school, this habit takes time. You can give her a shake that has all the ingredients and keeps the stomach filled till the fruit break.
