My firm announced their making everyone come back to the office 3 times a week. I’m low key pissed about it. I make my billable hours. We already don’t get any vacation or sick time. The least they could do is let us bill our hours wherever we want. Work from home has made a work-life balance in this field somewhat attainable and now they want to take it away.

How much should I charge a friend to watch 4 dogs at their home over Christmas weekend (2 nights)? The dogs don't have any special needs or medications. I've dog sat for other people in the past but always for free. I also have had dogs of my own for most of my life. I am a sped teacher in a high school. Autism Spectrum Disorders are not my area of expertise and I need someone who can help me with behavioural and academic interventions. He has a low average verbal composite and FSIQ on the WISC-5 but after that is very low to extremely low in composite scores for visual spatial, fluid reasoning, processing speed and working memory. The student is duel diagnosed and has a specific learning disability. I am running out of space. See next box.

As a member of the bar, it is unfortunate some of the fellow lawyers abuse their position by threatening non-lawyers who find a concept of litigation too intimidating. A family member was trying to rent out an apartment and received multiple offers. One of the prospective renters is now threatening to sue unless they get paid for a month worth of rent or they actually get the apt. No paper signed, but they tried to make it sound like they actually had a meritorious case using lawyer status.
