NYU might give you the best shot, but I know people from all three schools here. It's pretty close so go with the best fit

You’re already at Deloitte, and could easily jump to MBB with that. Is it really worth paying all that money and losing 2 years salary just to up your chances by an ambiguous %?
One additional point. My thinking is that Emory full-ride could at least give me an equal if not better shot than I have now to break into MBB with virtually no downside. I would get to go for free
Nyu
Emory isn’t in the same league , so even with a full ride it doesn’t make sense unless finances are very important for u…nyu definitely has a stronger brand recognition and better job opportunities for consulting than McCombs and shd be worth the extra money spent
Emory placed a lot at MBB this year. They are like 50% consulting exits. I know multiple associate interns this last year from Emory
Yeah if you’re in the Atlanta area
None of those is likely to get you to MBB without a lot of hard work on your part. Emory might be best bet if you’re willing to work in Atlanta
Probably NYU. Maybe McCombs if you wanna work in Texas. Have you tried applying to MBB from Deloitte as a lateral hire?
Was more common in 2020-2021 but still selectively doing lateral PLs. DM me if you want to know more.
MBB takes people from the T25. If you’re gmat is the same it won’t make much difference from T7-T25. My alma mater is at the tail end of T25 and we had 3/150 to McKinsey and several go to BCG. I had interviews with McKinsey when I was there. I’d take the money or reapply and get into a better school than NYU.
Emory - those school are basically identical
Id heavily weight towards which places more people in MBB or wherever you'd like to work post mba. Take a look at their bschool employment report (not sure if they do but my bschool does)
Great advice. Appreciate it

NYU probably has a slight advantage since it’s better in rankings but all can get you there. I got there from SC Johnson which is somewhere around those.
Reapply next year
NYU punches below its weight in consulting, skews finance.
Stern hands down
Look. MBB will pay for some of your tuition. Stern has a much bigger name and you’ll have much better connections across industries + globally to leverage as a future Partner. There is a price tag to everything. Stern is a solid tier 2 MBA (HBS/GSB =1, Wharton = 1+, Booth,Columbia,Sloan,Kellogg= 1.5) Same as consulting, things go down a real slippery slope after T2. Simply not the same caliber
Please don’t go to Emory. Don’t waste 2 years of your life. There’s an opportunity cost that is far greater than the full ride being offered
Would add Haas and Tuck to this, but otherwise spot on.
As people said, you are a lot less assured to get into MBB from these 3 schools than M7.
NYU probably has the strongest reputation. However, you’ll be competing for the MBB NYC offices against the majority of Columbia, Wharton, and Yale and those from Harvard who want to be in NYC. The advantage of Emory is that you are at the best ranked school in Atlanta and competing against other non-M7 southern schools for MBB Atlanta slots (although it is a smaller office). And similarly with Texas, although the MBB Dallas and Houston offices skew very heavily to oil & gas.
While Emory makes the most sense monetarily, which school has your favorite culture? Favorite curriculum / teaching style? Where do you want to live post-MBA and where do you want your network? If any of these answers take you to NYU or McCombs, try to negotiate a larger scholarship (I was successful using a large scholarship at one school to get some money from my dream school) and then choose the right school for you, your bank account, and your post-MBA goals.
Any preference for region?

As a McCombs graduate, I really enjoyed the classes I took there. I was in a different Master’s program but I took MBA classes for graduate business credits, the classes were very engaging and meaningful
That being said, if you can, aim for a higher ranked MBA program
It’s also very hot down here (even for a native Texan like myself)

What do these dollar signs mean? Does each dollar sign mean $20,000?
25%, 50%, 75%, full ride
I think you can’t go wrong with any choice. I know people who went to Bain from Emory and BCG from UT, so I think any of the three will get you there.
Not sure I agree with those that are saying these schools are about the same. Maybe for undergrad they are. For MBA there’s a big gap between Emory and NYU.
I would also compare employment stats from 2 years ago. Last year every top school had crazy high consulting placement. That’s not likely going to repeat.

Could do the part time program at Emory. I know some folks from my wife’s class that went MBB - some at FAANG too. Hell, someone from my part time program at UF went to McKinsey
