As a designer, I found this funny.

Is anyone working from TCS coimbatore location?
Merry Christmas everyone ❤️❤️❤️❤️
After Appraisal, company haven't shared updated offer letter (with new salary), it's been 2+ months now.
If I start searching for new job, will that HR ask about recent offer letter? Or only salary slips are enough?

As a young associate burdened with student loan debt, compensation is really the primary motivation. I’ve always thought that some kind of creative benefit that would help me repay student loans would be attractive, but I’ve never been able to formulate an idea that isn’t just more compensation at the end of the day.
Other things I find attractive: flexibility to work from home, child care benefits, flexible spending accounts, ample vacation time that I’m actually allowed to use, gym memberships.
Pay in crypto
Billable vacation time, help with student loans, 6mo parental leave, 401k match, mental health coverage, general wellness reimbursement (dietitians, gym, yoga, massage), better health insurance, remote work
The reason most firms don't match 401(k) for associates is so that they can give really generous benefits to a partners and staff plan without failing nondiscrimination testing. Staff are the only people in biglaw who do not meet the income threshold to be highly compensated, and it costs nothing to push some of their comp into tax advantaged retirement plans. That allows the firm to max out partners' retirement benefits without having to max out everyone's.
Permanent WFH as an option. Ability to come in monthly or twice a month would work as well
Summer Fridays - close at 3:00
I’ll do you one better, summer Fridays — work wherever! Pls let me at least pretend like I’m going to enjoy the weekend and work from a lake house on Fridays (disclaimer: I do not have a lake house, but, if we’re daydreaming, might as well go all the way)
Pay for that health insurance 100%
If you are interested in attracting new employees, there are really only a few things that drive the decision-making process: total compensation (which includes benefits), work hours/flexibility, and treatment by colleagues. People will stay in a firm where are being treated poorly if they are highly compensated. Likewise, under-paid employees will generally stick around if they are being appreciated and have control over their work schedules. I fall into that latter category. My firm doesn't beat me up regarding billable hours, I can more or less set my own schedule as long as I complete my tasks, and my colleagues are very accessible and friendly.
Long vacations
Travel and meal allowance, flexible work from home, certified courses paid for, bonus and OT pay even if capped. I enjoy my current firm's casual fridays and breakfast provided
Decent treatment: don't scream, don't drop big projects on associates on Friday nights or weekends, etc.
Four months of paid paternity/maternity leave.

Child care! Offered in the same building for convenience and so parents can check in on their kids during the day if they want. While I also agree on good maternity leave, the reality is the window of turn from post-maternity to preschool is much longer and harder for working parents.
Health packages that give credits to employés each month for fitness clubs.
Drinkable coffee would do it for me.
remote/hybrid; speak to associates respectfully.. stop lip ser vice talks of mentorship and diversity... mean it and do it. billable vacation time/meaningful PTO and sick days; 8-12 paid holidays.. contribute something to my students loan each month.
flexibility with remote work
Besides compensation, more flexibility about working from home/remotely, irrespective of location
4 days work wee k for a start
Cover as much healthcare as possible. It honestly doesn't even have to be a great plan as long as you cover like 90% or more of the cost. Maybe institute a generous parental leave program or cover egg freezing.
Offering pet insurance at a discount would definitely attract me. Or partnership with certain veterinary clinics.
Honest mentorship..not the idle words...some people want iv treatment. I cherish PTO days.
