Hi everyone! First time posting here. I am in a good sales role at my current company but it’s my first solid AE role in the tech industry. I am interested in exploring other opportunities as I know there are a lot out there, but is anyone else worried about the current economic state? I’m worried that if I find a new position for a new company and the economy going to sh** that I am worried about job security. Anyone else feel this way?

I am concerned with fulfilling billable hours requirement. I’m required to hit 2100 hours yearly and I’m at ~1,500 hours and I think I’ll hit 150-180hours this month. What will happen if I don’t hit my targeted amount by the end of my year.

I’ve practiced litigation in DC for about 5+ years at a larger plaintiffs’ firm, and am considering a switch to a defense firm. Is there any insight to how many billable hours this would require, and how much time that would actually be? For reference, the firm has a 1900 billable hour requirement and the partner said I would have “no problem” fulfilling that based on the work they have.

Between selling in retail banking environment and every month of insurance sales regularly pacing 200% or over to goal. Have you started a new job without taking a break? How was it? I thought I’d have more time to give my notice but the background check took longer than I thought so now I have no wiggle room between my start date and the two week notice.

I recently was let go (in lieu of accepting my two weeks) and I should have received my March expense check by the end of April per the employment agreement (submitted the report April 1, let go before mid April). I have emailed HR but haven't heard anything. I've got a feeling someone at the top is putting a hold on it.

How do I get my money from them? It's a few hundred dollars

If anyone has insight on the compensation structure for the Managing Director/ Country CEO role I would appreciate insight on how package are structured and how best to determine the amount. Context is for a cloud tech consulting firm that is about 75M in revenue and 500 people and growing 10x on a 3 year intervals.

My two year anniversary of starting my career (in general) is coming up in the next 3 weeks.

Aug 2020- 65k base salary
Jan 2022- 80k base salary
July/Aug 2022- 110k base salary


Just posting as a reminder to LEAVE that job (within a reasonable time 😂) and go where the money is!

I have placed a counter offer in march with Tech M .They are doing a salary revision with Joining bonus and they said they are waiting for JB approval. They didn’t send the revised offer letter yet. Do they usually take so long for revised offer letter. I have just a day left.
