I want to thank everyone in this bowl for getting me trough the nightmare that is PCOS related fertility issues. After 1.5 years of trying, two rounds of medicated IUI, accupuncture and every other homeopathic treatment available, a vanished twin…. Hubby and I welcomed our little girl on Friday at 37 weeks. She’s perfect. It was conversations in THIS bowl that gave me the hope and advice I needed to get here. So thank you, all of you- and to those that need it - hang in! There is hope.

Is it normal to feel depressed/lonely during wedding planning? I almost feel like I can’t talk about it since other people aren’t engaged and I feel like I’m rubbing it in their faces talking about it. So I have to keep everything to myself and it’s kind of stressful

How normal is it to be pulled off a trial team because you tell your boss you are moving after trial? I have a trial coming up first week of Oct. This case has been my baby, and I’m going to try it with my boss. I tell my boss up front that, for family reasons, I’ve gotten a new job and will be moving to another city two weeks after trial will likely end. He then gives my trial witnesses to another attorney, but is still going to make me do grunt work. Is he unreasonable or am I?

When someone tells me bad news regarding their health, I say everything I am supposed to say (I’m sorry to hear that, I’m here for you, etc) EXCEPT “everything is going to be ok”. Because I can’t guarantee that and I really don’t know if everything is going to be ok. Doctor says I have it, but I honestly don’t believe them. I don’t eat cane sugar (not even in sauces), gluten, dairy, or soy. I’m 17 weeks pregnant with our first. My husband is really struggling with emotional/ mental health. I’ve asked him to consider counseling or other medical alternatives. Instead, he wants to talk to me until 11:30 pm or 12 am at night. I want to be there for him but I can’t. I’m tired. I’m still working VERY full time, and I was just diagnosed with early onset preeclampsia 😫

My wife and I are fully vaxxed now and we know kids seem to not be impacted much by it, but it still feels irresponsible to go back to “normal” if it means putting them at risk.

My 5 year old son demanded a haircut because he doesnt like his curly hair. Its too curly. He wants hair thats like Fletcher's. (Fletcher is his white friend from day care). My son and his sister are the only blacks at the day care. I dont know how to broach the subject with him.
