I applied to Pinterest and Amazon. I have interviews at both and it's looking positive. I'm a little worried I set the bar too low with my initial response for salary range expectations when I applied. Anyone ever told the recruiter afterwards a higher range and been successful? What might you say to adjust the range? Thoughts?

Need some advice. My friend’s company is forcing them to work in the office while wearing a face mask for 9 hours a day. This has caused my friend to get migraines and experience physical pain above their nose, because they can't breathe. My friend needs the job but I’m worried for them. Is there anything they can do in their situation (besides quit)? They’ve already asked if they can work from home but their boss is unwavering and expects everyone to work from the office, even during a pandemic.

Expect 0. You'll get something
Does EY compensate with higher base? If not, why would anyone choose them over other big 4?
What was the first question?
What is bonus pool?
They have to fund something or risk a bigger than usual exodus. Even if fully funded the bonus is shitty so why have hopes.
OP didn't get the memo earlier this year on PBB impacts
SM1, I didn't get the formal memo either but been hearing it will be lower than usual.
When I was at accenture and leaving EY was referred to as the walmart of consulting. Crappy bonus and pay imply that the characterization was right.
