On the fence about a job offer. I currently work for an agency as an SAE making $75k. I love my team and manager (overall great company culture) but the account I am on drives me nuts. I was approached by a different agency for an SAE position and was offered $85k. Not a huge jump but the extra money would help with my spouse being laid off. Only worried about jumping from one high volume/busy account to another and not knowing if I will have as great of a manager, Any advice for this situation?

Im a pastry cook with 4yrs experience and the average salary start for this position is now at $22/hr here in vegas, especially in the strip. But cooking/baking is not my passion. So im changing into veterinary medicine and im seeing that the starting rate for a vet tech is around $16-18. Why is that?? Why are people in the vet med industry being paid so low?? Something needs to change. Labor of love aint enough for the people in this job.
