I'm looking at applying to MBB (Preferably BCG) for a summer internship this summer. I'm a first-gen Oxbridge student, and while I have little experience in consulting along the lines of MBB, I did work in the city last summer as an sustainability consultant.

I'm curious how important it is to have a referral etc and what you'd recommend for applications opening in jan. Any advice is super appreciated I don't have any connections to the industry but it's something im interested in. 

I am starting a 4-months internship at a company B in January. However, I just heard from a company T that they will interview me for their full time position.

Company T is paying me way more (twice) than Company B. And I like company T more. However, they want me to start working in February if I get this position. If I end up getting the offer, I will have to quit my internship at Company B, almost immediately after I begin the internship.

Is this okay?

Hi everyone, I joined a start up where I joined as an intern and moved on to be a Business Analyst. I've worked with marketing and HR, but as it is a tech firm I haven't really interacted with the really technical aspect of it. I graduated in May of 22. I transitioned from being an intern to being a full time counselor, now for 6 months. The two remaining in-laws were on thin ice with me prior due to years of drama, nagging, and disgusting display of wealth.
