Opinion Question: How long of recovery should I plan for after birth?

Issue: My due date is beginning of September, and I have a really big trial set to start on October 27th. My thought was to take two weeks off after delivery, then work remotely only on the trial work, then after the trial ends I start my 3 month actual maternity leave.

Am I crazy? Or is this doable?

Has anyone had success with doneadhd or cerebral? Please share your thoughts on the online services!

I had to leave my previous job and I’m currently job hunting, but I just found out on Monday that I’m 4 weeks pregnant. Has anyone started a new job while pregnant? I’m worried about starting a new role and having to take maternity leave so soon after.

Ladies, I commend all of you who are pregnant and lawyering on the daily! I am 10 weeks pregnant and haven’t been working much since I left my firm in March. I tell my husband every day “IDK how anyone is pregnant and practicing law at the same time.” After a morning in court last month I was totally out of commission for the day. If you are still working as a lawyer full time and growing a human it is something to be proud of!
