I have been reading a few articles talking about how FAANG isn’t as lavish as it used to be. My first question is if that is true? If it is true, my second question is what companies out there have the pay, benefits, and perks like FAANG? My last question is if it is as difficult to get into those companies? You will want to talk to whomever your employer uses to administer benefits. Specifically, ask them about “coordination of benefits” under the situation you just described. In many plans, the coverage through the employer plan pays first for claims as they are the subscriber. You would do well to confirm how this works under your employer’s plan and rules. Plan sponsors can have intricate nuances to their plans…which can make advice from 3rd parties like us a risk since we do not have access to your plan document to understand the plan rules.
Someone could offer you a flat answer here, but it would be a risk. Talking to your Benefit Admin is pretty important on this…
It really depends on what your employer is ok with, I think you will still have to keep yourd and even if you relinquish, not sure if you can really get much more out of that. Are the benefits really that bad?
