Hi Fishes, I am considering a Senior Engineer role with Alteryx (previously Hyper Anna) Sydney. If it's not too much trouble, I was hoping if anyone here could share their experience of working at Alteryx Sydney in terms of Culture, work life balance, politics, work pressure, people, Leadership and product. Thanks.

Focus on experience with non-Legal stakeholders and access to investors and senior leadership. Key is relationships as opposed to going deep or broad in aspects of law
Thanks! This is a great point
Echo the above. I think you need to know “enough” about different areas but at the end of the day, it’s how senior leadership perceives you. They don’t care about your legal knowledge. Though you need to speak and show you’re a critical sharp thinker. They don’t know what they don’t know about the law .
Thanks
Reality check here. Unfortunately, you will NEVER become GC at Farmers Insurance with the kind of experience you have. Take a look at Farmers’ GCs over the last 35 years. ALL of them have extensive insurance litigation, coverage, regulator,y, and deep corporate law experience. This applies to most (if not all) insurance carriers. I have worked in-house at several companies. At a bare minimum, every single GC I know has solid litigation experience. It’s always good to work with senior leadership. However, this will NOT be enough to become GC.
I am not working in the insurance industry, but thanks for sharing!
