Feeling like I’ve been “bait-and-switched”…

I’ve been interviewing at an agency with the intention of filling a Director role. Recruitment reached out soon after my last meet-and-greet interview (about 6 to 7 people total) to tell me the team thinks I would be best suited for an Associate Director role with a fast follow of a Director promotion.

Recruitment can’t tell me what feedback is creating this gap but also won’t stop mentioning the positive praise and feedback the team had for me.

I have 6 years of experience . I had an interview with amadocs. It was smooth and I answered most of the questions. At the end the interviewer asked me about salary expectations. I told him 22L and he was kind of surprised and told me that HR will get back to you . Does it mean that they are no longer considering me for the role? Hello Folks, I have completed my Technical and Managerial rounds last week and got the confirmation from consultancy that I have cleared the interviews and will schedule a call with HR as per availability.
My question is usually how long does Nagarro HR takes to release the offer ?

I cleared all my rounds for 2.2 level and shared all my documents on the link HR shared. It's been two weeks and the offer letter is not generated. The HR keeps telling me to wait until Friday and then postpones to next week. Can anyone help me understand this?

knows what the job entails exactly. I keep hearing about people "fooled" into taking a job in risk advisory thinking it'll really be advisory while they only end up doing IT and Audit support (which I do not want to do).

I saw some sales managers discussing hiring strategies, especially for entry level roles (e.g. SDR, BDR).

One strategy that came up was having the applicant do 90 minutes of cold calling into real prospects with the hiring manager coaching.

I’m a former forensic scientist that left the field several years ago. I recently received a subpoena from a case I worked and suggested to DA to have evidence re-worked by the lab or stipulation. If I am required to testify (as an expert witness), I would need to book a flight, hotel, etc. My question is this: can I ask for my requested hourly rate, travel, and hotel to be covered when speaking with DA or is that “not how this works” as the investigator put it?
