Hey, new to investing looking at initial mistakes I made. I have $1k in VOO, $7k in VT and $4k in VTI in my brokerage acct; in my Roth IRA I have $6k in VT and $7.7k in VTI. Just getting out of the worst contract I've ever had. Never had a client work so hard to make sure I couldn't do anything. Put in 2 weeks notice a few weeks ago that would end it 3 weeks before the contract completed because I found something else.

Took them two days before they said to leave right then. Told me for 1st time there was performance issues. Now they are simply saying they won't pay the last 40 hours worked.

🐠, I was laid off from industry during covid and started consulting this year, which was a step back in terms of level and salary. I have received an offer that would allow me to course-correct and advance past where I was before. I like my current firm and have put a lot of effort into making it my new home; however I don’t like my project and am stuck on it.
