In NA this switch is pretty common (although I’ve been having some trouble) but wondering how this is viewed in the UK? Is this a common thing? I was interviewed for a perticular customer, which went well and also received an offer. Few days before of my joining date, i came to know that the technology stack from customer got changed and customer had no requirement for which i was hired. However parent company still hired me and now they're in process of allocating me in some other clients. Sometimes i feel insecure about this situation. How to cope up with such cases?

I have 10 years of experience. Mostly in Unix, C++ and Visual C++ and MS SQL. I developed interest in cloud computing as like many others and was able to clear AWS Cloud Practitioner, AWS Solution Architect Associate and Professional, AWS Security. Along with these I was able to clear 8 Azure certifications as well: 3 fundamentals, Azure Security, Azure Developer, Azure DevOps and Azure Architect.
Now my main question, can I try to switch on Cloud Architect or some other similar cloud roles?

I'm feeling a lot of anger towards my manager (now he's acting normal but there were moments where he was condescending/dismissive/mocked my and others work/arrogant/said stuff was "wrong" constantly/belittling the difficulty of tasks etc. in the past project).
