How do you recommend finding recruiters who specialize in a particular geographic area? (Tampa Bay specifically)

I am looking forward to HR round for Macquarie Gurugram. All rounds went well except for numerical reasoning section in psychometric test. My yoe is exactly 8 years. My current CTC is 16.2 and expecting raise in current company in 2-3 months.

Q1- What is the maximum I can demand in Macquarie in HR round? Initially, before interviews started, I mentioned 27LPA (negotiable). I have a past offer (not current) of 25.5 LPA.

Q2 do they decline offering in case we get adamant abt high salary 27Lpa?

I left my old job the end of January (due to compensation) and hate my new job. I don’t sleep and am constantly stressed. I have been interviewing since May, but I can’t seem to find a good fit that has an insurance Plan that fits my needs. I am thinking about reaching out to my old job (very small and tight knit) to see if there’s a position available for me still. They told me there would be when I left…what is the best way to go about this?

What’s the best way to blindly reach out for a job? My dream agency is one of those ones that never seems to actually post job ops. No real connections yet, either.

Some recruiter in Accenture lined me up for an interview for a role which was not in my skillset ( by saying that this is just an evaluation exercise and they will map me to the right role) and obviously I got rejected. Now I see that I am not eligible to apply the role which I was targeting for the next 6 months. Any idea how can I get this escalated so that the recruiter ( Accenture employee) should at least be careful in future before fooling a noob like me?

I wanted to know how long does Course5i take to release an offer, I cleared all rounds last friday and was going to get an offer from HR early this week (by Monday evening or Tuesday) but didn’t get any offer till now.

I loved the role and I am still excited to join the organisation so mailed a follow up to the HR yesterday but did not get any response till now. I do not want to follow up for the next 1-2 days since I feel it would be too pushy from my end.

Does Globant terminates the employment of certain trainees after their probation(3 Months) based on their performance in the training period? Some of the fresher trainees were laid off this morning without giving a notice or reason.

Currently, in accenture. I have had very bad billable hours and not much achievement this fiscal year. I am worried of getting fired, so i applied for another job. Got offered may be 5% above my current pay with 5k bonus, but in lower level at Deloitte. I think working lower level will give me more opportunities to learn as i think i have lot to learn. Told a friend of mine in tech I was considering moving to BCG. He asked me if I would have to move to Boston.

I followed up by asking what he thought the top consulting firms were. "I'd guess PwC and then McKinsey are the best. I've also heard of KPMG, Deloitte, and Bain, but I don't know much about them."

Just a reminder that outside our bubble no-one really cares about firm prestige etc.
