Question related to employment/contract law - I have to stay at my firm for a year from the date of receipt of my CPA bonus (11/30) to not have to pay it back. I received a job offer that I am planning to accept. I am trying to time my notice so that my two weeks ends during the first week of December. I am concerned that if I do that, they may just let me go early, before 11/30. If that ends up being the case, would I be legally obligated to repay the bonus?

Got an offer from Kantar Consulting to work on their retail/cpg product.
Currently working with IBM with 10+ yoe having joined IBM 10 months back. Currently at 25 lpa and getting an offer of 32 fixed+15% variable.

Now my question is - Is it worth the gamble to leave IBM and join Kantar consulting which btw is known for market research and not consulting.
Also would leaving IBM after 1 year look bad on CV?

Hey guys I have offer from cisco system and checkpoint cyber security . Checkpoint is offering x+5 in base where as cisco is offering similar amount in joining bonus. Overall per year ctc is also differs by 3 lac (y+3) in checkpoint .

So considering recession and mass layoff which one will be right option to select in terms wlb, job security and future growth .

FYI : checkpoint is starting r&d division in India I will be first person to be hired for the same role.
