Hi Fishes, I have received an offer from Barclays for AVP position. But the role discussed during interview was for Tech Delivery Manager whereas the offer letter mentions it as Tech Delivery Lead. Can you guys please suggest if it is the same role or should I request recruiter to get the role updated? Moreover it would be great if any of you can shed some light on the prospects/challenges of this role based on your experiences. Barclays Barclays global service center
I have joined Infosys 2 weeks back. They have mapped me to a certain project but everyday I am getting calls for the skill sets that don't match to my current skill set. They are telling me to attend client interview and giving me just 1 week of time to prepare for a totally new technology.
Does this commonly happen in Infosys? Infosys

There are millions of possibilities as to why he didn’t get a second interview. I would say EY not needing skilled people is among the least likely of those.
EY 2 - don’t be such an ass
OP - If your referral’s written and or spoken English is as poor as the grammar and punctuation in your post, then we would not hire them for that reason alone.
The first interview feedback was very positive and HR asked them to wait for second interview. However my referral page says they don't fit for role. That's why I was wondering.
EY3 - I call it, like I see it. You also missed a period or exclamation point at the end of your statement. We should put you on a PIP! :)
Cut the crap ey2.....
Audit Manager, we capitalize EY and firm standard is 3 periods... I would have a field day reviewing each of your written work.
OP - with that additional information; who told you that the initial feedback was positive? Do you know who they interviewed with? It is possible that the initial interviewer was a recruiter who may not have been able to assess your referral’s complete skill set. If so, upon a second review, EY may have decided your candidate doesn’t have the specific skill set needed. However, if you know who they interviewed with, I would ask them for informal feedback to help your referral on future interviews. Through the person who interviewed them, you may also be able to find out who from the People Team was involved. If so, then ask them about what the referral page says. It is fair game for you to seek informal feedback to help your friend/candidate. It is also fair game for you to ask the People Team, as you may have future referrals. No one will manage this better than you, so you need to do some leg work to get the real answers. Good luck.
You must be a joy to work with EY 2....
