“I’m not a convicted serial killer”
Yes. Never convicted
Maybe start by saying who you are voting for president and why. Should be a nice ice breaker
Don’t forget to add your stance on Israel
I'm always a fan of giving a boring fact. Like - "I irrationally hate cheesecake". Things like that.
@Internal Auditor 1 that's blasphemy!! Cheesecake is delicious!!
Sounds like you need some hobbies outside of work. That way you’ll have an interesting fact about yourself. Join a rec sports league, take a comedy class (improv or stand up), take a pubic speaking class, learn to play online poker / blackjack, etc.

Nah I'm sure they already have stuff they like. It can be reading, what tv shows or movies you like, games, hiking, gardening, etc.
Or make something up because people most likely won't remember anyway
Do you not have anything interesting to say or are you an introvert and don’t like to share who you are? I literally list out all my hobbies if they ask lol otherwise, if everyone is just giving basic info (name, past experience, role) then just follow that and don’t over think
Talk about your pets! I always say I have cats and somebody always asks to see a picture of them. Or give your favorite food. Fun fact doesn’t have to be serious, just fun
Talk about your drive, vision and aspirations. Nobody wants to know your life stories. They want to know how you see the future and bring values to the team using your skills and experience.
Yeah just tell them you’re humbled and honored to be there and then tell them what working there has taught you about B2B sales

Talk about AI. It’s something everyone wants to discuss right now. Ask people what kinds of things are they using AI for. Tell people what you are doing with AI to make your life easier.
I agree with Director 1. - Talk about your drive, vision and aspirations. Nobody wants to know your life stories. They want to know how you see the future and bring values to the team using your skills and experience.
Some of my former colleagues would reveal a lot of personal information. It really isn't relevant in any corporate setting. Over the years, I had a lot of personal family issues that I was dealing with but never revealed to anyone.
Discussing hobbies can be an interesting topic. If you are a sports fan and the company has many client's who sell sports related products it can be relevant. Same scenario if your company sells pet products and you are a pet lover.
I do agree that having good public speaking skills is always an asset no matter where you work.
Use it as an opportunity to highlight key strengths you would bring that are applicable to the role. They don’t really care to know if you took your dream trip but whether you possess sufficient skills to be successful in the role.
Nah.. they want to see if you have a personality. The poster already has the job.
