Hello Guys,
I joined Cognizant recently, the project interview calls which I am getting is not from my base location.
I have the location constraint, should I wait for the right opportunity or raise this concern to ADP team so they can look in to it?
As per ADP policy, one should not have any constraints and take the project as FCFS basis.

$5k for 1 more year is reasonable IMO. I’d let it go. Ask for a raise on your own merit at your review based off of things you have done not based on others or it will make you look petty and combative. FWIW I was making $35k less than another associate started practicing 8 months before me and hired on the same day and found that out (at the first firm in my career). I’d been there for 3 years when I found out. I asked for a raise without pointing out that my caseload is more than hers. I simply showed what I had done for the firm already and could do for the firm and told them I knew what the other salaries were (but didn’t talk about how I was better than her). I ultimately left months later even though they started paying me more than hers bc I was much younger than I am now and my feelings were hurt about it. I was very upset about it so I get how you feel.
Agree with Attorney 2 — ask for a raise at your 6 month review based on your performance / because you are excelling. I’d leave the comparison out.

Agree. The reason for the (narrow) delta is that they are one class year ahead. If they suck, just let them and stay out of their way. Don’t ask for more money because they suck. Ask for more money at your review because you’re excellent.
I understand the frustration. But you should likely wait until your review to ask. Your colleague may have just negotiated a higher salary more than you did. Start looking in the meantime.
You're jealous and upset over $5k?
It might as well be 2k from three years ago. And the person is a year ahead of you too
I echo A1’s comments . It’s frustrating, but something to use as grist for the motivation mill as you wait for your review.
Common in biglaw for seniority gaps. In what sounds like small law, it is more discretionary, but $5k for an additional year of seniority is pretty reasonable.

$5k represents what % of your salary?
Enough for it to be an issue for me. I think it’s also more so bc it makes me feel undervalued. This associate continues to make mistakes which causes more work for the rest of us to have to clean up (attorney’s and staff), plus this person constantly comes to the other attorneys asking for help bc they barely don’t know what they are doing.
