Dude, just buy a map
White Sands National Park, Sedona, Antelope Canyon
Make it out to Big Bend if you have the chance too!
Petrified Forest National Park is worth a stop, but it can get a little boring once you're east of Albuquerque.
Add Sedona to the Grand Canyon part of the trip
Grand Canyon is to look at but Zion is for gorgeous hiking
^ Grand Canyon has beautiful hiking as well! The middle and bottom of the canyon is a complete difference experience compared to the top. Would highly recommend a day hike (bring lots of water!!) :)
Thank you pwc1
Thank you c1
Second Big Bend National Park, relatively close to Grand Canyon. Theres also McDon Observatory to view the stars nearby
Sf has Redwoods, Sierras has Tahoe/Sequioa/Yosemite. Ridiculous views. Close to the Grand Canyon you have Zion and Bryce in Southern Utah. Just so much to see
Sedona!
This place does not get enough credit- it’s super cool http://meteorcrater.com/
Texas is huge... where in Texas are you headed? And how much time do you have? Santa Fe, Carlsbad caverns and white sands are all great but hard to fit on the same itinerary. Meteor crater and petrified forest are near Grand Canyon and pretty cool quick stops.
BCG 1 we were planning to to Dallas, visiting family for 2 days. Can do a little detour if there are any interesting places around
Cadillac Ranch (bring spray paint)
Dallas is pretty north Texas so Austin, big bend may be a big detour... but Palo duro canyon near Amarillo is good
Yosemite and Carlsbad Caverns
Antelope canyon
Depending on where you're going in Arizona, definitely go to Monument Valley, probably one of the most unique places in the US
