I will say going from federal to something in financial services will be a big difference. Especially when it comes to the hours you will likely be working. Where as most federal are limited to 40, you consistently work more than 60. The 50% pay raise will come with 50% more work

Agreed with above. Currently in TAS and came from federal consulting prior. The workload is more but I find the work more interesting and more rewarding. Expect to travel as well which eats into more of your free time

Assuming you interviewed because youre interested, the offer seems to be a significant jump in title and pay. What more do you want? Smh... not even sure how you got the offer from your asking this question

Did ey know you're making 98? Interesting. Also what work you doing at Deloitte federal right now? Id take it but beware of tas group

Why do you say beware of TAS?

Assuming that the work and career path are both similar to your current role then it sounds like a solid offer.

Firm i am interviewing with is a midsize firm. I have 3 years of complex lit experience, they do simple property law. They need me for pre-lit only. No interviewers were able to discuss compensation, so they set me up with a phone call with the owner today. Owner never called. Part of me wants to send a passive agressive email telling them no thanks because they do not respect my time and another part of me wants to be understanding. What do i do?

I know a lot of people are upset today with comp coming out and I don’t want to be insensitive but I finally crossed the 6-figure line! I know a lot of people will laugh at this goal but I wanted to make 6-figures before 30 (I am 29). As a 2nd generation American, I wanted this goal for all the sacrifices my parents made to leave their homes and families to give me the opportunity that the US provides!

Can someone explain the difference between FB’s Partner Solutions Manager and the Strategic Partner Manager? From an initial recruiter call, it seems the SPM provides the consultative product recs while the PSM onboards the client onto that product and tracks performance to provide actionable recs as needed. Anyone know career growth and salary for these two? I don’t want a sales heavy/only lateral growth role like their client solutions manager roles so these seem like good compromises?
