Forvis Mazars has a lot of good opportunities in forensics. I enjoy that I can get the experience of writing a report at a consultant level. I will say, we are turning towards doing less domestic and personal injury work but we have a large presence when it comes to commercial, lit support, and fraud investigations.

Yeah but no one uses the term “top 10 firm” for anything other than accounting firms.

Consulting is MBB (i.e., McKinsey), T2 (i.e., Alvarez & Marsal), Big 4 (i.e., PwC) and then i guess boutiques like FTI, although they’ve probably grown too large to be called that at this point

Would it be a good career decision for someone coming from GRC firms like Kroll, Control Risk or Exiger? I am concerned about the negative reviews relating to the PwC acceleration centres in general, and getting stuck in a role which does not provide growth opportunities. Thank you.

I have 5 YOE in Analytics... always thought I wanted to be a DS, but every job (even the junior ones) required experience in ML development. Though I am part of the ML project, I'm not the person develop the model. And I have a hard time when the interviewer ask about how I develop the model and what hyperparameters I tuned. There’s been some posts on the best planning tools (e.g. planners, calendars, etc.), but my question is how do ppl make sure they use them?
