Should I be upset if every time a friend of mine keeps asking to hangout and my availability but the day we hang out she cancels or simply forgets. She’s done this countless times where she’ll give me a date and just doesn’t show up.

Been having trouble moving on since girlfriend ended relationship 3 weeks ago after 2+ years of dating. Before ending it she came over 3 weeks prior to basically give me a chance to work things out and we had a good discussion but then I went back into our routine and didn’t really fight for it or have serious follow up convos that we needed. For context, my wife, once she’s done with maternity leave, will only work 25-30 hours a week. A relative is raising a teenage son with her ex-husband. They have joint physical custody. The ex-husband has re-married. When the son is in his care, he often leaves the son at home in California with his (new) wife when he travels for work (which is often). The relative wants her ex-husband to leave their son in her care when he travels out of town but the ex-husband disagrees. Any parents who are still on the safe side with Covid? We have a 1 year old and being safe and staying mostly home is really getting to me. Most of our friends have kids who are able to mask up or are vaccinated and it’s getting quite isolating. It’s a really convenient argument for him because it enables him to either be the victim and me the villian, or forces me to concede my stance and not reach a true resolution. Any tips on dealing with the irrational?

Have you ever taken a job you know you will hate because you needed the money right away? I have a family to take care of. Well I recently told a guy I have been seeing I have HSV-2. We have not yet been physical but it’s been heading that direction.
