Signed offer with McKinsey three weeks ago and submitted all the documents for the background check right away. Still, no news and they don't answer to my follow up emails. Should I be worried?
Also, I haven't even been asked for diplomas or transcripts yet, for the H1B transfer...

I racked up about $20k in credit card debt due to a confluence of things happening at once (move, school expenses , etc ). I have a fair amount of paper assets but not a much free cash. Assets are down a decent amount with the current market cycle and I’d prefer not to sell them to cover the debt , although they easily could. Wanted to bring out that staff-1's are paid peanuts (3.33L CTC) please don't expect them to slog 12-13 hours. They don't have enough motivation or incentives to work that long. Seniors,AM's and Managers should be more kind and explain the work to them clearly rather than making last minute changes.
