Can you elaborate? What’s a semi offer and what red flags?
Sounds like my exes and dating experiences
It was a offer with 50 contingency that went against everything I was told and basically impossible for me to accept. They knew I was 2hrs away from the office which I mentioned during every interview which ended up being a red flag. They told me they would expense any client travel if needed which they reneged. They told my the base comp I said would be my minimum to move was absolutely doable at least 10x (they came in 40k short). They said I would be on a fast track to the next level which they reneged, at one point they even said they would put this in the contract for me lol. Basically reneged a bunch of stuff after I killed every interview. They still gave me a number…but it didn’t really seem like an offer that was meant for me to accept
Suspect that Slalom would have rejected someone from Deloitte, especially during this talent war.
It’s all good, I haven’t been at D for even a year so I didn’t truly want to leave yet but they came in with what seemed to be my exit
Opportunity 2 years from now. I thought the green dot had just done it’s job ahead of schedule lol

Yeah, what kind of red flags we talking about here? Semi offer? Just got here from D and the entire process was very smooth
It was smooth for me until the call for the offer came, it’s like they got cold feet. The entire time I was hesitant myself because it seemed like they weren’t really following the norms but I just figured they’re desperate plus I’ve also heard they’re restructuring to a more national model.
You are confusing having someone be nice to you with doing well during the interview.
I am very nice to people during interview, I found something to compliment them on thekr answers and tell people how their thinking is strong and their approaches to solutions are great. And then I ding them.
The only thing that they said that was not correct is the work travel. That is not reimbursable unless you are traveling out of town
Everything else was on the table if you had met what they were looking for
It definitely sucks.
They should have been more honest and said that the level to meet what you wanted was xyz and then graded you against that from the start. It sounds like they didn't do that until the end and instead used a lower level for a long time
Still sucks though

Thats like cat fishing you!! Sorry they wasted your time. Their offers will always be lower, they can’t compete with Big 4 pay unless you’re junior and don’t make a lot. Next!
Slalom pays really well on a per hour basis. Not everyone wants to work 50-70 hrs per week. I had so many weeks at slalom where I was able to finish the entire weeks work in 4-6 hrs
