So confused and depressed. Was laid off from my firm but have time till the end of November to find a new role. I had few good interviews and am expecting an offer to come through but I really don’t want to do this work anymore. I am feigning interest in the interviews and the very thought of doing this job yet again is literally making me weep. I don’t know what the matter with me is. Is this burnout? Something else? :( Not sure if I should take a break or try for in house or anything else…

I’ve been working as an APM at my current company for 1yr, and have basically been doing the work of a full blown PM the entire time. I’ve lead several features from start to finish and made sure to mention in my resume that I have been doing everything a regular PM does.
