Hi fishes! I had asked for benefits other than CTC which Bank of America provides & now that I've completed 1 month here, here's the list of allowances you'll be getting irrespective of position/band:
1. Sodexo: 1300 p.m./ 15,600 p.a.
2. Transport allowance: 900 one way, 1800 two ways p.m./ 21,600 p.a.
3. Internet: 1500 max p.m. (other than that, one time installation charges)
4. Tuition fee: Any certification related to your field. Like CFA, FRM etc. 3,00,000 p.a.

Got a random email from a supposed Amazon recruiter for a SDE position (which is not at all a fit). The email is amazon.com domain and there are no red flags in the body but it doesn't feel like an Amazon recruiter due to the tacky signature, etc. Has anyone seen this kind of cold-calling from FAANG recruiter?
Advice needed - boyfriend has almost 3.5 years of finance experience at a bank. Interviewed for PwC valuation senior associate and now recruiter says they want to hire him at “experienced associate” because he has no valuation experience. Is this too big of a step backwards in career? Should he push back and see if it gets him anywhere? If he does accept Associate, is it reasonable to ask for written, definitive timeline (1 year?) for promo to Senior upon meeting standards? Help!
Hello people, how common is a Amazon to PWC move ?
I’m interviewing for a Senior Associate role and TC seems to be more competitive than role in L5.
TC $114k- Base AMZ- $73k +$38kstocks ( vesting 17k$ due next year)
TC $135k Base PWC -$81$ + Bonuses ( 50k$)
Looking for managerial skills which the PWC role avails, and L6 promo doesn’t seem to be happening soon in current role. I’m also mentally stretched. I hear WLB in PWC is just as busy but can anyone confirm if this move makes any sense. Google Amazon

M&A tax hands down.

I’m saying that you’re putting too many eggs in one basket going to audit and will make significantly less money doing so than tax.
Audit to FDD is not a guarantee the market isn’t good and we recruit out of undergrad a lot more now. You have a great opportunity that pays more than FDD and could go to a firm like A&M after that will pay you IB type money. If you’re not confident you can get into a good MBA then IB I doubt you’ll be one of the people who can pull off FDD to IB at a decent bank.
If you take audit I think you’ll wakeup in a year or two thinking wow I fucked up and make half as much as I could’ve been maybe even less. M&A tax seniors can pull 200k+, audit directors don’t even sniff that
Pro
Neither tbh.
But I would disagree with the above and say audit. Audit > FDD > IB is not too uncommon
Agree with EY1 above ^ 100%
Audit.
But keep in mind that M&A tax will probably pay you more money

M&a tax will not help you with IB. Why would it?
