Hi guys,
Need help,I am joining VMware Banglore on 27th June. During interview I told them I need wfh. They said it wil be wfh this entire year. Only mistake I did was i didn't permanent wfh. I took for granted like once I join i can opt for it ( as my VMware friends had said we can opt for it)
Now the offices have started, I am scared if they call me to office , I have 14months son, not willing to leave him n go for office.
So if I ask manager to give me permanent wfh will they agree ?

Dear all,
My friend is trying to get into her 1st full-time job. Previously she worked as a UI UX designer for multiple clients (freelance). But she couldn't manage to get an interview call. She is an excellent UI UX designer and an illustrator. If anyone has any options, kindly comment below, I will share her resume. She is a btech graduate with 2 year experience in ui ux designing/illustration field.

Just say thanks, but after much thought, you’ve decided to stay where you are. They may come back and ask if they can make the offer more attractive, so be prepared to tell them it wasn’t about the money. Unless you feel like taking it.
I'm sure you've been turned down after an interview before. Just spin it back to them the way they would to you. Say you're glad to have gone through the process and meet with everyone, but even though it's enticing, you've ultimately decided not to move forward with the position at this time.

Counter with what you need and if they can’t meet that, then the problem has solved itself.
It’s actually the brand they want me to handle - I don’t feel comfortable with it. Although there hasn’t been any offer on the table yet, the interviewer wants my CV to be sent to the board for their reco.
I have found the earlier you turn it down in the process - like dip out after an interview - the less burned they feel. You don’t have to, you can wait until the offer is in hand. But the earlier you do it, with fewer stakeholders the easier it is for them.
It’s not about the money, but the client/brand I would handle. My moral compass says no.
I was told they need my latest CV because I would be recommended to the board for the role. So is it best to dip out now - and should I tell the reason why (I mean does it matter if they know?)?
I think there are better ways to determine your market value than from an agency on an account you don’t want to work on. by all means, wait for the offer - just know that it can be touchy turning it down. I wouldn’t care if somebody rejected an offer, in a perfect world they would still want you. but people are human and they can feel strung along e.g. you just getting an offer to determine your market value.
