I have only ever known big law. I was hired in at 21 and have worked at the same firm ever since. I’m 36 now. It is challenging but if you can manage your stress levels you can make good money. Set boundaries. Be clear with your attorneys with your workload. Get the overtime when you can. If you can’t do it, move on, it’s ok. This life isn’t for everyone.

You’ll get used to it. Ask for deadlines on projects and assignments and set expectations and boundaries early. If it’s really not for you then it’s not for you but I always thought it was exciting. Jumped ship to in-house after 7 years and it’s just as crazy busy but in a less stressful way (if that even makes sense lol).
I feel your pain! I came from a firm where I supported 1-2 partners and that's it. I am now supporting 7 of them and I'm burn out. I could probably deal with it better if some of them were decent to work with but a few are not nice or professional and it's enormously discouraging.
I was there. It doesn’t get any better. It took me 5 years to gather the gumption to jump ship and I am happy as hell where I am now. Supporting 10 attorneys is CRAZY. It’s not sustainable. Polish up your resume, sister, and start looking. It may take a while to find something. Best if luck!
