Any tips for organizing a bedroom, closet, dresser & bathroom? My teen has IADHD, and low executive functioning. Her room looks like a land mine. Clean clothes are mixed in with dirty, her desk is a disaster, she won’t let go of clothes she’s outgrown, drawers are open with clothes hanging out. A therapist said to close her door if we don’t want to see it but it’s more than that. She needs this important life skill & I don’t know how to help. Easier to organize w/o her but that’s not a solution.

I dint feel happy when my bf proposed me for marriage.. i am not able to understand why..he is very nice guy, we have been dating for almost 4 years but honestly, in these 4 years, i never had that butterflies feelings with him never ever. I am starting to question my existence in this world. I have a nice job, decent salary, i work out and eat healthy, maintain my health, read 3 to 4 books every month, dont have any personal commitments (single), in my early 30s and things cant be any better. Of course with the exception that i had a real bad break-up with my fiancé 6 months ago. And i dont have any symptoms of depression, but there are days when i just feel like what is all this for?

I’m a female who lives with my SO. We’ve been dating for years and we fight a lot so it’s possible a breakup is near. Do you think it would be difficult to date while living with my ex as roommates in a 2br/2ba? We have a lease that’s not even halfway done. In other words, would a man be uninterested in a woman who’s living with her ex (but of course being appropriate after the breakup)?

So I have been seeing a guy for 4 months. We have a pay disparity.. he earns less than I do (by quite a bit). He has mentioned a few times that he’s worried I’ll get bored of him when I know he can’t afford the same things I can. I think we are beginning to move past this, but now he’s starting to mention things like ‘I am really broke this month’, and last weekend he told me his mum has lost her job and he’ll have to probably pay her rent. I have a lot of sympathy for his situation … tbc

My aunt recently passed away, leaving behind 2 young girls (16 and 12 years old). I’m trying my best to be there for them and pray for them, and have been asking people to pray for them as well. Until I started question what is the point of asking people to pray for them? I know God hears my prayers, so why do we ask people to pray ?

I have realized I grew up in a household where my dad did not treat my mom as an equal. He belittles her, is rude and convinced his way is the only way.

How do I figure out spending with my SO? Initially I was paying for 90% of stuff (no actual bills, just going out). I talked to her and said we need to be more even. She was never proactive. She kind of got offended but we ended on a good note to split things. It went well for a couple weeks but now it's back to normal. She never takes out her card and only venmos me if I send her the request. She lets Venmos sit for weeks before paying them. I still let a lot of things slide.

Why do we always tell people “Be the best version of yourself before starting a relationship?”
I feel this is wrong…first, if you’re someone who constantly wants to be better, this doesn’t work. Also, what happens when you’re going through things and you’re not the best version? What happens is…the going gets tough and then one person leaves the other.

I returned back from Germany this year and now my current fixed CTC in India is 25 LPA and my in hand salary after deduction was 1.4 LPM, I was not sure what to opt in the Tax regime and selected new tax regime. It’s for an entry level cloud developer position. I have 1.5 years of consulting exp @ a top 10 and an MS degree.

Any insights into how much I should be asking for? Don’t wanna go too high or too low.

I’ve tried googling and saw salaries ranging from 90-160k for similar positions so I’m trying to narrow down ..
