Someone correct me here, but couldn’t the Citi Custom Cash Card be the new ultimate dining card? It gives you 5% Cash Back on the category you spend the most in up to $500 spent each billing cycle. Assuming you don’t spend more than $500 a month on eating out; that’s 5% back on dining with no annual fee. Isn’t this the best option for those not spending more than $500 a month?

Is QEF inclusion dividend or not? Sometimes, I see QEF inclusion reported on Line 11i and sometimes on Line 6a. I think we can rely on Sec. 1293(c) but I think it’s not foolproof. My hunch is since QEF regime is tailored to treat the PFIC similar to domestic mutual funds, we should not treat the QEF inclusion as dividends. Any help is appreciated.

Hey fishes, can someone tell me how the 80c bracket works, i know i can get exempt upto 1.5lakh under it, what i wanna know is does PF comes under it or not? For example if my yearly pf deduction is 20k and VPF is 10k so now will i still be able to show investment of 1.5lakh under 80c apart from PF and VPF or i'll be able to get exemption on only 1.2 lakh( 1.5lakh-30k= 1.2lakh)?

1- refund ALL of it even taxes Withheld ?
2- refund only the amount that was deposited in your account
3- mix between 1 and 2 refund more than was deposited but less than the whole amount ( taxes should be refunded to me next year)
