So you can take a week long boot camp and pass it. I did two full weekend boot camps back to back (9-5 sat sun consecutive weekends) and then passed on the Tuesday after the last class. If you know project management the course is good to get you what’s being taught on the test. Highly recommend
Very possible. I studied only for two nights and passed
Me too. When i did it you are allowed one exam retake without paying any extra. At least take a practice exam to get a feel for questions. i figured why overdue the prep if you get a free retest. Retest ended up not being needed.
boot camp then test done in a weekend plus Monday
the PMP certification doesn't teach you anything you don't already know if you're qualified to take it. you're only learning the PMI terms and ways of doing things "by the book". entirely possible to do it, the only catch is you need a sponsoring entity with classroom time to show you "studied"
I took the boot camp in October. Then PMI put me through an audit, and it churned forever. They finally approved it in March.
I had given up by that point. But when the approval came, booked the exam in a week, took 2-3 days off, and scored extremely well in every section.
Bottom line: it’s possible. A boot camp really helps.
Through your company usually. We offer one at our yearly training. They must have one at Deloitte University?
Yep - the test is pretty easy, and if you can figure out how the PMBOK would answer the questions, you are good. I did a week long boot camp and took the test right after, but I didn’t really need that long
Quite possible
