Strategy& consultant here. In the Deals Strategy team doing commercial due diligence for buyside and sellside M&A primarily. I have about 2-2.5 years of experience out of undergrad. Are there any lateral opportunities out there? It seems like deal volume is completely shot. I know my team has basically no deal flow right now in consulting. Is it the same in banking right now? I chose to go the strategy consulting route instead of banking and tbh, I regret it

Trying to figure out if I should start as an inbound SDR, or try jumping straight into an AE role in SaaS.

I left mortgages at the beginning of the year to start a franchise business, it's now semi-self-sufficient so wanted to start a career again and I live in the Silicon Slopes area. Everyone I know is in SaaS or software engineering.

Just wondering if I should push my resume as far as possible and try to snag an AE role or take my time in a new industry and start from the bottom.

Is IB worth the sacrifice of WLB? Obvious pay is really good but are the prestige and pay worth it if you’re planning on only doing it for a couple years?
