Life is too short to be miserable 8-10hrs a day.
Id say get out. I toughed it out through the same situation, and turns out an account you don't like working on is really hard to do great work on. Portfolio gets stagnant. Still there 2.5 years later.
Talk to someone. The team may like you back and want to keep you, and if that's the case they'll absolutely try to do what they can to find you a new role. Obviously there might only be so much they can do, but at least you're giving them the chance to fix things before losing you.
Is there another discipline within your agency that you're interested in? It's far easier to change disciplines within your current agency than to start over somewhere new, especially if your team likes you and thinks you're a hard worker. Presumably, you can also switch onto a different account as well. Consider talking to your supervisor and the department head of the discipline you're interested in and seeing if you can take on extra projects in the area you're interested in and work together on a plan to get you transitioned over to that department in say 3 to 6 months if you and the department head find it's a good fit. Alternatively, you could take a general assembly course (they offer some online there isn't one in your area). It's your career. Do what makes you happy and don't feel guilty.
Why do you feel guilty for looking?
