Is anyone joining kgs in dec or jan?
HCL Technologies offer being delayed and recruiter keeps saying that there's a problem with their "Offer release portal system." I have already stated my issues with relocating until after I have the offer signed and ready. The project is supposed to start on the 19th and I'm supposed to join before, or on that date. It's already coming up soon and I don't have the official offer so that I can confidently start the relocation process. Has anyone else recently dealt with this?

If you are not working full time, I believe you are eligible for COBRA for 18 months.
Or you can just get your own policy and pay out of pocket. Good chance you’ll make more freelancing to cover the expense.
ECD 1 is right, you can do COBRA for 18 mos.
I got cobra last time I quit my job
You can keep Cobra for as long as you’re not covered by other insurance. When you freelance on a W-2, you will eventually become eligible for insurance if you’re full-time. Until then, you can keep Cobra. You can keep it for 18 months if you’re freelancing on a 1099. Your hours worked isn’t what makes you ineligible, it’s being covered by another insurance plan.
Thanks for the information! Appreciate you writing in.
It’s pricey to match a good agency policy. But you’ll make it back in next to no time freelancing.
