M7 is the equivalent of the Ivy League, but for b school. Harvard, Stanford, Wharton, Columbia, Kellogg, MIT, U Chicago
To answer your q, it depends. If those brands are as strong or stronger than ones currently on your resume, it's probably worth it. But I have a friend who went to Cornell and it's lower ranked than our undergrad she she legit NEVER mentions it at work. So it depends on where you're coming from

Depends on why you're going. With a narrow minded opinion like that, maybe not because you'd likely just be resentful. If you want to expand your network, have time to self reflect, and take 2 years to hit "reset", then top 15 or so are all worth it.
I think the M7 list is silly. There are other MBA programs that are also worth it like Duke, NYU, and UC Berkeley
OP, Cornell isn't for everyone - I definitely encourage you to visit and learn about the program. After spending 5 minutes on campus I knew it wasn't for me... the program was very small, facilities weren't that great, and location for me was awful. BUT some people love it.
Went to Cornell. Placement is a good mix for IB, consulting and marketing, but location has its issues. Pros - u will form a close knit group due to location. Summers r awesome but winters r brutal. Also u get access to entire Cornell university, which is great if you want to do more n maybe focus on startups. Cons - u don't get great access to corp leaders due to location. My friends at Stern met a lot more corporate ppl n placements were easier.

Pretty much all schools put out placement stats. Just look at the companies/salaries/industries listed and see if it's worth it for you

I didn't know Kellogg and Chicago were part of the mix. Wow can simply go get their part time mba if doing it for the name. Both programs accept 60% of applicants
