I don't really come across Kirkland in my practice area (ECVC), but scuttlebutt is that they're a sweatshop and have poor exit opportunities. That being said, my one friend who actually works there absolutely seems to love it (although she works insane hours compared to me). So who knows, maybe all the sweatshop talk is just sour grapes.
K&E associate at another (non-Chi/NY office) and currently work with a girl who came from KE SF, and she speaks very highly of the SF office. The Kirkland culture can very widely between the various offices and I can personally say that the work life balance at some of the newer/smaller offices is better than in NY/Chi. As far as exit opportunities go, I would not worry about that at all. Kirkland is Kirkland and the exit opps will always be there.
Thank you!
Thank you. Even some hearsay is helpful. Could I ask why exit opps would be poor? I would’ve thought at the very least, that would be a strength you could leverage.
Thanks everyone. This all helps a lot.

Corp or Lit?
Corp specifically, but as an office more generally is cool too. Already know the rep in NY/Chi so wondering if any different. Thank you!
