Getting married in September, have a vax only policy for guests. My fiancé’s sister is bringing her unvaccinated spouse to the hotel where all the wedding festivities are being held b/c she is too scared to fly on an airplane without him. So i have been fortunate that i have managed to go through my career without the need for a degree. I was lucky enough to have been hired by one of the worlds top consulting firms, worked with a whole lot of big clients and travelled a lot. It's gotten to the point where I am not even asked about the lack of a degree on my resume. Personally though, it bothers me. I have a whole bunch of certifications in my industry…but just no formal degree. (cont'd)

Why does everyone say that starting in Big 4 (or consulting in general) right out of school is great long term? Do other places (industry, tech firms, etc) reach out to you personally for good exit opportunities? Will probably be accepting my offer with Big 4 but I really don’t want to do this long term at all. How long should I stay (I want to stay max 3 years for my mental health, but again, I would like to project my career forward so not sure).
